George Washington Lodge 585 is the first and oldest American Lodge in Italy, having been opened in August 1958. We are composed primarily of active duty/retired military and active/retired DOD civilians. We are located in the city of Vicenza , which is located in the North-East corner of Italy, not far from the cities of Verona and Venice.Vicenza is well known for the many buildings designed by famous Padova born architect Andrea Paladio (1508-1580), the Vicenza Gold Jewelry Fair and the manufacture of gold jewelry . |
